Check in and out with your contactless debit or credit card

1. You board the bus and check in with a contactless debit or credit card or a card on your phone. The card reader will beep once.
2. When getting off, check out with the card you used to check in. The card reader will beep twice.
3. Payment is automatic. The transaction will appear on your statement the next day, with the reference NLOV. The fare for your journey is the same as the standard fare when travelling with your OV-chipkaart without a discount or season ticket.
4. To see your journeys, go to the web tool and enter the 14 numbers and letters next to NLOV on your statement and the amount debited from your account. You will then see the journeys you made and the fares you paid.

In the near future you will be able to check in and out with:

• your contactless debit card
• your credit card
• your OV-chipkaart
• your GPS (when travelling by train)
• your ticket
